On March 28, 2012, the CRTC published its final Regulations under the Anti-spam Act (see: Electronic Commerce Protection Regulations (CRTC)).
The CRTC Regulations prescribe the form and content requirements to be included in “commercial electronic messages” or “CEMs” for the Anti-spam Act (for our earlier post on these final Regulations see: CRTC Finalizes Anti-spam Act Regulations).
The last steps before Canada’s new Anti-spam Act comes into force are now the finalization of the draft Industry Canada Regulations under the legislation and proclamation into force.
